Marketing

From market research to sales strategy, community engagement, product pricing, distribution and customer support, I offer extensive non-profit marketing experience.

Advertising

I combine persuasive messaging with thoughtful strategy to create effective advertising campaigns, including direct mail, online, print, radio and television.

Public Relations

Whether it’s researching and pitching news stories or managing crisis communications, I provide thoughtful public relations counsel. I also use social media to engage the public with coordinated, automated campaigns using blogs, e-mail newsletters, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other platforms.

Publications

When creating newsletters, performance programs and other publications, I start with an editorial meeting to make sure all aspects are carefully coordinated, including copywriting, image collection, layout, editing and timely publication delivery.

Special Events and Promotions

Starting with thorough planning and continuing through to final clean-up, I plan successful special events and promotional activities that are well-organized and fun. Experience includes coordinating media partnerships, volunteer recruitment, set up, catering, transportation, entertainment and auctions.

Community Education

Engaging the community with dynamic community education programs has been a specialty of mine; I’ve created lecture events, organized multi-sessions courses, led tours and produced other opportunities for the public to learn and explore creatively.

Fundraising

Working closely with development officers and board leaders, I have incorporated fundraising strategies into marketing programs to produce results; I’ve also coordinated donor and sponsor acknowledgments and contributed to grand reports.

Budgeting, Planning and Leadership

My skills include organizational strategic planning, budget management, marketing and advertising planning. As a leader on the senior staff, I have worked closely with board leadership, working with committees and presenting at board meetings.
